Michael Cardwell is a writer from Columbus, Ohio. He writes a type of fiction that overlaps magical realist, weird fiction, minimalism, science fiction and satire. He likes reading Flannery O’Connor, Knut Hamsun, Franz Kafka, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Ernest Hemingway, H.P. Lovecraft, Jorge Luis Borges, J.G. Ballard and Louis-Ferdinand Celine. He’s finished his first collection of poetry Hymns and Icons, which is available on Amazon. He’s been finishing up his first novel.
